Dear All

I hope this message finds you and your family well.

There will be many who we may know now, or we will become aware of, who are anxious at this time, some who will sadly become unwell. People may contact you and ask you and / or the Church for our prayers.

To help us care for people and their prayer requests, we are forming a circle of people, who are able to support others in this prayerful ministry. If you would like to join this circle. do please let myself, Mark, or Jenny know.

If you receive any request for prayer, do please make the person aware of this group and ask if they would like and are happy, to receive our prayerful support in this way.

Can I please ask you to contact Mark, Jenny, or myself with any prayer requests, being clear that the person's permission to share is required. The request will then be forwarded to the group having first removed surname or address of any individual concerned. All requests will receive our care, bearing in mind that any one of us could be unwell or supporting others, so a slight delay may result.

In Acts 1, verse 14 we read" All these with one accord were constantly at prayer".

With very best wishes and thanks to you all

Loving God,
We pray for all those who are suffering because of the coronavirus, may they know your healing power.
When we are afraid for ourselves and our loved ones, give us your strength and courage.
When we feel alone and isolated, reassure us with a sense of your presence.
Give wisdom to those in authority and may our community work together for the good of all.
We give thanks for those who care for others and ask you to bless them in all they do.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, healer and physician.
